Three years after installing temporary heritage panels in the Auckland suburb 
of Kingsland, we have now upgraded these to new,
permanent, long-life anodised aluminium panels. In addition to displaying information about specific heritage sites and assets, the panels provide a link to further information published on the area's website.

Of particular interest is a panel marking the location of the 1903 Kingsland Tram Disaster, when three people were killed and over 60 injured.
The Kingsland Business Society will commemorate the disaster with the unveiling of a heritage panel on December 23rd 2016.
