Auckland Heritage Festival Is On!

Last night saw the opening event for this year's Auckland Heritage Festival.  allendale-house

Festival and event organisers got together at historic Allendale House in Ponsonby for presentations by a number of council representatives, including mayor Len Brown. Drinks and nibbles were served and an opportunity was provided to wander through Allendale House, including access to the turret.

The event was enjoyed by all.

Auckland Heritage Festival

This year we have had the pleasure of working with the Mt Eden Village Business Association to create and present three heritage walks as part of the 2016 Auckland Heritage Festival.

The walks will be held each Saturday of the Festival and feature a number of unique heritage icons. Developed in conjunction with Albert Eden Board, local business and property owners and led by Davil Hill of Auckland Walks, the walks may be booked online on the Mt Eden website.

Growth at offshore sites was up 9% over June last year.  Online spending at UK sites surged in the week immediately following the ‘Brexit’ referendum help on 23 June.  It was up 47% compared to the same week in 2015.

  • Food, Computers, Hardware and Department stores were strong performers (annual growth >20%).
  • Online clothing purchases from local retailers were up 14% on June last year
